This is a post with a song by Jagged Edge. It is an awesome song and I would like for this to be shared and downloaded with pride. The intro of the song says "this is the remedy, y'all" and it's about all the wrong people you can find in your life that justify what you're going through, "the only thing that they do best is hurt you". The chorus reflects on what can happen such as coming out on top or moving on when they're gone. They also talk about how we've been down before but we always come back around in the end so they put in some work to push past these obstacles in life. The second verse starts with "once I was a child with no sense, no sense at all. In this world of rainbows and butterflies, ain't no one to tell me what was going on". It's talking about their childhood, seeing the world as a happy place and being oblivious to some of the things going on around them. They talk about some of the things they've been through that have shaped them into the people they are today. "To the average life, forgot what it's all about, 3 years in county jail, where my momma went to visit me in my cell" is an example. It talks about the struggle of growing up in a poor home and how they were able to turn their lives around with hard work. The third verse talks about how sometimes love can be "so bad it hurts". They're talking about how it's easy to fall for the wrong person but you have to pick yourself up and move on when they're gone. The last verse talks about how you never know what will happen when you wake up but they remind us that everything is going to be alright in the end. They talk about their personal obstacles in life and they advised us to remember to never give up hope. It ends with "If you're ever in the need of a remedy, this is the remedy". An awesome song that talks about how they have overcome many things in their lives including being down on their luck, being hurt by partners, being in jail for 3 years, but they picked themselves back up and worked hard to make something out of it all. It talks about how when you are down sometimes love can be so bad it hurts when you are uncomfortable with someone where all you can think is "okay I got money gonna make sure I change my oil myself".
